Who We Are: Since 2001, Sixthman has pioneered themed cruise experiences, creating intimate shared encounters for bands, brands, and their fans. We are proud to be celebrating our 18th year and the accomplishment of executing 116 festivals, hosting over 250,000 guests for 1,000,000 days on vacation at sea, including our first European festivals at sea coming in 2019. Our world class hosts and artists have included KISS, Kid Rock, John Mayer, Zac Brown Band, Train, Pitbull, Paramore, Florida Georgia Line, Diplo, Joe Bonamassa, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 311, Lyle Lovett, Barenaked Ladies, Sister Hazel and for brand partners such as Turner Classic Movies, VH1, Steven Van Zandt’s Renegade Circus, Walker Stalker Con, truTV and others, along with Sixthman curated festivals, The Rock Boat and Cayamo! Our festivals at sea bring non-stop performances, artist collaborations and a truly immersive music vacation experience with fan/band interactions throughout the voyage and in port. Our home ports of call include New Orleans, Louisiana; Miami and Tampa, Florida; and Barcelona, Spain, with dream destinations to the Virgin Islands, Belize, Honduras, Mexico, The Bahamas, and upcoming Mediterranean ports.

Mission: Support the marketing team in its goal of increasing brand exposure, executing guest communication, sponsorship, and contesting strategy.

Schedule and provide content for event posts across social media platforms

Participate in Social engagement and listening

Various administrative duties as tasked

Exposure to

Event planning meetings

Execution of launch of new events

Public relations strategy meetings

Creation of social media ad campaigns

Eligible for the opportunity to be invited to work and sail on one of our events upon the completion of at least one semester

Skills and qualifications

This is an unpaid internship. Must be enrolled in college to apply.

Must be in Metro Atlanta Area

Must furnish laptop for in office use

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with MailChimp, Survey Monkey, and various social media platforms a plus

Computer proficiency (Email, Word, and Excel skills)
